“ I was so pleased that we decided to try Smith & Webster for our date night. What a delight! The food matched the service in excellent quality! We are so pleased to support a Black Owned business that superseded the expectations of a high quality restaurant. I already sent it to a few friends before I left. Wendy was also amazing, so warm and welcoming which fit the ambiance and what we were hoping for. She really made us look forward to coming back. Get the fried chicken plate and upgrade to the extra sides, ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, every bite was a pleasant surprise. I finished the collard greens in two seconds, and as a Jamaican woman I never really favor collard greens as I’m more of a callaloo girl, this is the first place I actually enjoyed it. The lamb plate was deliciously cooked, we can see why it’s a. Best seller. The biscuits were so incredible that my husband ordered FOUR to go!! We can’t review dessert because quite honestly we had 0 room left. The menu over all was on the end, however we believe in paying for QUALITY food and service so it was well spent. Please don’t change a thing, continue doing a great job. We will totally be back soon, so glad he found this place. What a gem! ”

“ If you’re looking for food made with love that will touch your soul look no further. Everything was excellent, from ambiance, service, and most importantly the food. Wendy was our server and she was just so lovely and made you feel right at home. I can already tell no matter what you order there isn’t a wrong choice. You can tell the head chef is highly skilled knows exactly what he’s doing. We stared with sweet chili shrimp and wings. The shrimp was so crispy with a delicious sweet chili sauce. The wings were cooked perfectly and were very tender which is a theme here. We ordered off the happy hour menu so we were able to have a lighter portion before our meal. Then we had their homemade biscuit and just wow it was light and airy, with honey on top. Which is refreshing since my experience biscuits can be very dense. Then for main course I had the garden salad and my father had the lamb chops. Wow! To both dishes the salad had an amazing vinaigrette with corn bread croutons, also was an excellent portion. Those lamb chops unbelievably tender with the best chimichuri I ever had. I had a side of blackened shrimp that came out looking light on flavor but no it was packed with perfect blackened seasoning. Long story short if you’re looking for scratch made food that is made with love I recommend you get over here. Looking forward to coming back and I hear the brunch is amazing. ”

The food was delicious and the portions were out of this world! Our server Wendy was the sweetest and blessed my heart twice! With a beautiful word of encouragement and also her beautiful voice as she sang Happy Birthday to me! It was such a pleasant experience and a wonderful atmosphere!
